Offering personalised in home dog and puppy training, helping you establish leadership and clear boundaries with your dog. Providing simply tools that are easy to follow to help you transform your dog into a calm well behaved dog that's a pleasure to have around the home, with family members, other dogs and to take out and about. I service the Northern suburbs and Mitchell Shire but please contact me if you are outside of these areas.
Insights
Dogs are pack animals and look to us to be their pack leader.
Poor leadership leads to behavioural issues.
Dogs like children need clear, fair boundaries set.
Separation Anxiety is a good example of an owner not demonstrating good leadership it is also a very common issue and not difficult to fix.
A dog left on its own with separation anxiety does not feel safe.
Dogs need to feel safe and rely on humans to keep them safe by being good human leaders.
Don’t let dogs jump on you or jump on your furniture uninvited this is disrespectful and a sign there is a leadership issue.
Toys belong outside, dogs when indoors should be calm and relaxed.
My training technique includes a combination of positive reinforcement (treats) and negative reinforcement (body language, lead pressure & voice command). Dogs need to be exposed to some low levels of stress in order to cope with stressful situations (ie being left alone).
Too often we as humans attach our human emotion to our dog. Our dogs don’t think the way we do.

Sally was fantastic. She gathered information from us regarding our dog's problem areas (reactiveness, jumping & leadership issues) prior to our session together and had solutions for us on the day. We've worked with a few different trainers before, however Sally's technique have provided the best results. Her knowledge is very broad and there wasn't a question that she wasn't able to help with. We would highly recommend her training & knowledge!

Sally has been absolutely phenomenal. Her first visit she was here for over 3 hours, never clock watched and took so much time and help me with nuances of Robbie and my home. Shes always happy to chat over text or cal wit follow up questions and she has come back to me for free as she was concerned about his welfare and the impact of having to be crate bound/no walks for over 6 weeks. Shes also helped my neighbour with her new puppy who also found her to be amazing. If anyone has a new puppy or needs some help with behavioural issues i couldn't recommend her more!

Sally came to our house and spent 3 hours with our doggo, Jazz. She was very patient and wanted to ensure we were comfortable with the skills we learned before moving on to the next area of concern. Her tools helped guide Jazz in learning good behaviours. Barking was a huge concern and she was able to improve the issue almost immediately. Very thankful for the session with Sally and would highly recommend her services.

I had Sally come to my house and spend three hours with me and my pup. She was patient and very supportive with my concerns with my puppy. The support you get afterwards is amazing as she doesn’t just send you on your own she gives you sheets and also ongoing support. I would highly recommend.
